DAVID AUSTIN ROSES   $ 24.99 each

These roses are an entirely new breed of roses which blend the opulent, romantic beauty of the Old Roses with the disease resistance and repeat flowering of Modern Roses.  All David Austin roses are extremely fragrant.  Their wonderful fragrances include classic old rose, together with tea rose, fruity, myrrh and musk.  Bred in the cooler climate of England, our warmer summers usually produce taller growing plants.  Left unpruned, many of the English roses can be grown as climbers and are surprisingly winter hardy.  We do, however, recommend winter protection.  A summer spray program is also beneficial to control insects and diseases as they appear.

Hardy and trouble-free roses that withstand the tribulations which can beset other rose varieties.   Little or no winter protection needed on these varieties.   Fairly resistant to insects and disease- spray if needed.  All hardy shrub roses are own root plants, and bloom recurrently throughout the summer months.  Rugosas generally show good fall foliage color as well as ornamental rose hips.

                                                                                       CLIMBING ROSES   $17.99 each

While not technically true climbing plants, climbing roses do produce long, flexible canes that can be trained and tied up onto fences, arbors and trellises.  Since most climbers flower on old wood, severe pruning can reduce the amount of blooms.  Prune out only dead or weak canes in spring.  All climbing roses are own root plants.
